01 Essential services
What should the hospital sustain, redesign, expand, consolidate, or support through partnership?
CIRRANE pronounced SIR-RAYN is an independent, principal-led healthcare advisory for rural hospitals and Community-Based Health Systems. We work alongside leaders to assess challenges, weigh options, and prepare their organizations to put strategic decisions into practice.
What should the hospital sustain, redesign, expand, consolidate, or support through partnership?
Where should care be delivered to protect local access and use constrained capacity well?
Where can virtual care or remote specialty support extend local capability without fragmenting care?
What must be aligned before a strategic priority can move forward?
Leadership work in practice
Three executive papers show work completed in previous employment roles across service continuity, virtual care, and a hospital opening.

01 / Service continuity
In a previous employment role, the service-line director led the transition to a PSA orthopedic group after a practice divestiture, including surgeon onboarding and year-round ED call coverage. The employment summary separately reports preservation of more than 1,200 surgical cases and $11 million in revenue.

02 / Virtual care
Previous employment work included system-wide virtual-care leadership and virtual care at two hospitals. A published community-hospital report described 36 equipped rooms and 12 trained virtual nurses; the system received a separate $1 million FCC telehealth award during that effort.

03 / Hospital opening
In a previous employment role, procurement and clinical-technology direction supported a Florida community-hospital buildout. A construction-design issue required the planned data center to move within the building.
